To feel is to be ALIVE! Feelings are a good thing; whether those feelings are good or bad or happy or sad. We must feel. A good way to bring out your true feelings is to write in a journal. I suggest you keep your journal private rather than making an online journal. Writing in your journal allows you to express all of your emotions. Let your spirit be free and really open up without editing a thing in your journal. Your spelling can be messed up too. That’s allowed! You can even write about the past if you feel you’ve kept certain feelings bottled up inside.
It’s safe to feel.
If you find it difficult to write about your emotions in your journal, you can simply start with how you feel at that present moment in time. Here are some examples:
I feel cheated on
I feel confused
I feel in love
I feel scared
I feel worried
Once you’ve written a few statements on how you feel you can elaborate on those feelings. Here is an example:
I feel cheated on because my boyfriend was flirting with another girl in front of me at the bar. He then touched her knee and asked her to dance. When I’m around my boyfriend I feel ugly and not good enough.
After you’ve written in your journal inhale and exhale slowly. On each exhale feel your spirit getting lighter and brighter regardless of what you wrote in your journal.
You should also drink a glass of cold water after writing in your journal. Make it a point to write in your journal daily. It’s safe to feel.
Blessings,
Lisa
